PRESS RELEASE – Big Water Safety Equipment and The IRF 2019 World Rafting Championships....
Big Water Safety Equipment has been announced as an Official Sponsor of the IRF 2019 World Rafting Championships.
The excitement is electric as 400 white-water rafters, support crews and their families from up to 30 countries will soon arrive in the region in an attempt to Tame the Tully at the IRF 2019 World Rafting Championships.
The Australian Rafting Federation (ARF) will be represented by seven teams competing on home soil. The current Australian U19 Men and Women, U23 Men, Open Men and Women and the Master Men and Women have all secured their spot to take on the world.
Local Cairns business, Big Water Safety Equipment was established by Alan Carrette in 2004 and provides whitewater paddling and safety equipment for all adventure sports, stocking only quality and reliable gear.
Big Water has grown into one of the largest providers of safety equipment to emergency services and commercial water adventure companies across Australia.
Their website bigwater.com.au also sells directly to the Australian paddling community.
The event has been officially sanctioned by the International Rafting Federation and will attract over 1,000 competitors from 50 countries all over the world, injecting over $7 million into the Cassowary Coast Region.
