NRS Echo Responder PFD – Modular, High-Buoyancy Rescue Performance
Designed for demanding rescue and emergency response environments, the NRS Echo Responder PFD offers outstanding versatility, high flotation, and a secure, adaptable fit. Built around the NRS Every Body Design™ philosophy, this professional-grade life jacket delivers 11.8 kg of buoyancy with exceptional comfort and freedom of movement—without the need for gender-specific sizing.
The Orbit Fit System™ utilises precision-cut layers of lightweight closed-cell foam to form a flexible, pre-curved profile that naturally adapts to a wide range of body shapes while maintaining consistent performance across sizes.
A front-entry zip allows rapid donning and removal, supported by secondary safety buckles to ensure reliability in high-stress rescue situations. Extensive MOLLE panels on both the front and back provide a customisable platform for attaching mission-critical equipment, while hook-and-loop chest panels support clear departmental identification.
An integrated internal webbing system creates a secure rescue harness for live bait and technical swiftwater operations. SOLAS-approved reflective detailing improves visibility during night and low-light conditions, and an interior silicone-coated waist strip helps prevent the PFD from riding up in turbulent water.
The Echo Responder is equipped with a 50 mm quick-release rescue belt featuring an anodised aluminium ring, suitable for live bait and other swiftwater rescue techniques. A ladder-lock buckle minimises excess webbing and enables precise fit adjustment without disengaging the rescue belt.
Storage is streamlined with two low-profile, zippered front pockets with MOLLE-compatible exteriors, along with two concealed hand-warmer pockets for colder environments.
