Its hollow-ground, fully serrated edge is designed to slide safely under rope, webbing, seatbelts or clothing while delivering excellent cutting power. Ergonomic comfort is equally important in a rescue knife, and the fibreglass-reinforced nylon (FRN) handle includes Bi-Directional Texturing™ and strategic jimping for a secure grip in wet or gloved conditions.

A four-position pocket clip allows for right or left-hand carry, tip-up or tip-down. The inclusion of a David Boye Dent in the lock lever reduces the chance of accidentally disengaging the lock during heavy use — a smart safety feature for high-stress situations.
